PlanIt Demo Version
The demo version is limited to 100 objects and will not save your drawing. It's a great
way to learn for yourself all of the capabilities of 3rd PlanIt. 3rd PlanIt requires
Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000.
Download the Demo Version of
3rd PlanIt v6.02.012 (6.2 Mb) 4 Sep 01. This is a self-extracting
executable file; run the file after you download it to install 3rd PlanIt.
Please load the Extended Object Library (below) to have access to all the
buildings in the Object Library. The Demo Version comes without example files to save
space (see bottom of page).

buildings are now in this library, including those seen in this web site. This
library also contains Rolling Stock with textured surfaces.

Track Library Updates
These files are in ZIP format, available individually for easy download.
Download file, then use WinZip to extract the 3PI file into the appropriate
folder in the object library. This is typically found in:
C:\Program files\3rd PlanIt\Standard Library\Track\xx Scale
You
must be running v5.01 or above to use these updated libraries, as many depend on
the newer "Snap" and "Offset" turnouts.
